popping my cherry, Firefly style~

Well, though I like to think of myself as a strong-willed person, I guess I had to cave to the pressure eventually... (at least I haven't "tweeted" yet!). I always seem to be the one who holds out the longest in joining something (Facebook, et al). I don't really understand why, perhaps its a desperate attempt at elitism, maybe a bit of wanting to remain a private person and not "publish" everything I do (I loath people like that, like I really want to know what you're doing... at this very moment [close friends not included])... but for me mostly i bet its just plain laziness. I guess I'm also just one who doesn't want to get too attached to something, or fall out of love, letting it slowly and disappointedly collect dust (Facebook, et al).

Another reason for me starting a blog, is really because I think, in my post-schooled world, I should keep up my writing skills. I'm hoping that this blog, will accomplish one main thing: keep my writing ability sharp, honed, and most importantly: entertaining. Entertainment I hope, that will keep my friends visiting occasionaly and for me to post regularly. I'm growing away from msn as well, so I hope those who I truly care about can still keep a minimum level of communication with me via this blog. Although I'm moving away from these forms of technology, it does not mean I'm removing myself from you, my friends. I still love you all deeply... "~ai ravu ruu rong time.
