Song Choice Fail

So while in Osaka (an amazing city) I went to Karaoke two times in two days. My voice was so out of shape that I completely lost any little range I had previously. This wouldn't have been that ridiculous if it wasn't for my horrible choice of songs (horrible in the sense that my voice and them do not and should not ever mix) and my sweet friend's love of high-pitched happy songs. All the songs we sang were in Japanese, so add in a language obstacle, let sit in a low-lit room for two hours (without the aid of booze!) and you have yourself a recipe for disaster.

Which song takes the cake? Let's just say I attempted to sing Perfume's incredibly auto-tuned but also profoundly addicting "Polyrhythm" (try saying that in katakana)

If I ever attempt to sing that song again, I will have to do it the way Japanese drag queens do it...

No, not with Autotune but rather with the aid of a special "natural" ingredient:

I hope everyone is as happy as this song is, I want to keep this entry short and sweet so I'll wrap it up by saying I'm missing all of you incredibly!
